 DTrace: 
can be used to get a global overview of a running system, such as the amount of memory, CPU time, filesystem and network resources used by the active processes. It can also provide much more fine-grained information, such as a log of the arguments with which a specific function is being called, or a list of the processes accessing a specific file.


Dual-Mode Operation: 

The dual mode operation provides us with the means for protecting the operating system from wrong users and wrong users from one another. User mode and monitor mode are the two modes. Monitor mode is also called supervisor mode, system mode or privileged mode. Mode bit is attached to the hardware of the computer to indicate the current mode. Mode bit is '0' for monitor mode and '1' for user mode.

Baseband signal
The entire bandwidth of the cable is consumed by a single signal.
Broadband signal
The bandwidth is utilised by multiple frequencies, allowing multiple signals to be sent at the simaltaeously.

Mesh:
A network in which there are multiple network links between computers to provide multiple ways for data to travel is called as a mesh network.
